The Croatian government has approved a new package of fuel price measures aimed at protecting consumers from rising energy costs.
At a telephone session held on Monday, the government adopted two regulations that continue the current fuel pricing model by reducing excise duties and limiting the margins that energy companies can charge on fuel and LPG products.
The new pricing regime will take effect on 3 June 2026 and remain in force until 15 June 2026.
How Much Will Fuel Cost?
Under the new rules, fuel prices in Croatia will be:
Petrol: €1.61 per litre (down €0.03)
Diesel: €1.61 per litre (down €0.05)
Blue diesel: €1.09 per litre (down €0.06)
LPG for large storage tanks: €1.35 per kilogram (down €0.09)
LPG in cylinders: €1.93 per kilogram (down €0.09)
The government also confirmed that it will continue to cap energy sector margins at:
€0.1545 per litre for petrol
€0.1045 per litre for diesel
€0.0436 per litre for blue diesel
€0.8737 per kilogram for bottled LPG
€0.4116 per kilogram for LPG supplied to large storage tanks
Croatia has repeatedly extended similar measures over the past several years in an effort to shield households and businesses from volatility in global energy markets.
