Air Canada will launch a new direct service between Montréal and Dubrovnik in May 2027, introducing another important connection between Canada and Croatia.
The new Air Canada Dubrovnik flights will operate three times a week in each direction throughout the summer season. Tickets are already available through the airline, its contact centres and travel agents.
Flights from Montréal will begin on May 11 and continue until October 23, 2027. Return services from Dubrovnik will operate from May 12 until October 24.
The new route is part of the largest intercontinental expansion in Air Canada’s history, which includes five new international destinations and seven new routes for summer 2027.
Air Canada Dubrovnik flights will operate three times a week
Flight AC950 will depart Montréal at 6:15 pm every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Dubrovnik at 8:30 am the following morning.
In the opposite direction, flight AC951 will leave Dubrovnik at 10:45 am every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It is scheduled to arrive in Montréal at 1:45 pm local time.
The Air Canada Dubrovnik flights will be operated using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with Signature, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. According to the airline, the service has been introduced in response to strong demand for premium leisure travel.
Passengers will also be able to connect through Air Canada’s Montréal hub to destinations across North America, making the route useful beyond travellers beginning or ending their journey in Québec.
The new service expands the limited selection of direct Canada to Croatia flights and provides easier access to Dubrovnik, the southern Croatian coast and nearby destinations including Montenegro and the Bay of Kotor.
Part of Air Canada’s major international expansion
Air Canada is adding several other international services as part of its summer 2027 schedule. New routes will connect Toronto with Oslo, Shannon and Nice, while Montréal will also receive a new connection to Basel. From Vancouver, the airline plans to launch a year-round service to Guangzhou, subject to government approval.
Other changes include more frequent Toronto to Shanghai services and the extension of several routes to year-round operation.
Air Canada expects to operate more than 125 international routes during summer 2027, providing up to 169,000 seats each week between Canada and more than 85 international destinations.
The airline said the expansion would increase its available seat miles across international markets by more than eight per cent compared with summer 2026.
The new Air Canada Dubrovnik flights will operate for more than five months, covering both the main summer season and part of Dubrovnik’s increasingly important spring and autumn travel periods.
