The Pakleni Islands wildfire broke out at around 11:40 a.m. on Sveti Klement, the largest island in the Pakleni Islands archipelago near Hvar. The fire is burning in the Vloka Bay area, just off the town of Hvar.

According to the Croatian Firefighting Association (HVZ), firefighters from the island of Hvar have been deployed to the blaze on Sveti Klement.
Four CL-415 Canadair aircraft were requested to assist with the operation, and the aircraft are now actively fighting the fire from the air.
