Visitors planning a trip to Dubrovnik this summer should take note of a new Lokrum boat schedule announced by the Lokrum Nature Reserve.
The updated timetable, which comes into effect on May 30, 2026 covers regular passenger boat services between Dubrovnik’s Old Town harbour (Porat) and the island of Lokrum, one of the city’s most popular day-trip destinations.
According to the new schedule, the first boat departs from Dubrovnik at 9 a.m., while the final departure from Lokrum is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Boats will operate throughout the day at regular intervals, allowing visitors flexibility when planning their visit to the island. The crossing takes only a few minutes, making Lokrum one of the easiest excursions from Dubrovnik’s historic centre.
The Lokrum Nature Reserve has also reminded visitors that organised groups must be announced in advance. Group visits can be registered by contacting the reserve via official website.
Officials noted that boat services remain weather-dependent. In the event of adverse weather conditions, sailings may be suspended. Any changes or cancellations will be announced through the reserve’s official communication channels.
Located just off the coast of Dubrovnik, Lokrum is known for its botanical gardens, peacocks, walking trails, historic monastery ruins and swimming areas. During the summer months it attracts thousands of visitors looking for a quick escape from the crowds of the Old Town.
The new timetable will remain in force from May 30, 2026.
